SCHOOLS
Clinton has four elementary schools, a junior high school and a senior high school, where
more than 670 students are enrolled. Over 165 courses are offered, including 3 years of
French and Spanish and an advanced placement course in Calculus.

Antique and craft collectors love to browse in the Clinton area's many shops that feature
handmade craft products and collections of antiques. A craft mall in Clinton has more than
100 crafters represented.
TOURISM & RECREATION
C.H. Moore Homestead: History buffs will be impressed by this
Victorian Mansion that is fully finished and open to the public. The annual Apple and Pork
Festival is held on the last weekend of September on the grounds of the Homestead. The
festival offers homemade goodies made from apples or pork. Dozens of crafters set up
booths to merchandise their talents.
Clinton Lake: Located six miles from Clinton is the 10,000
acre Clinton Lake Recreation Area with its 4900 acre lake.
Weldon Springs State Park: Located 2 miles S.E. of Clinton is
Weldon Springs Lake consisting of 29 acres surrounded by 442 acres of park land. The
campground has 78 electrical sites close to showers, restrooms and water service.
